Desert Rose (Adenium obesum) is a stunning succulent known for its vibrant flowers and unique swollen trunk. It thrives in dry, arid conditions and produces showy blooms in shades of pink, red, white, and purple. Desert Rose is popular as a potted plant and requires minimal watering once established. Ideal for sunny spots, this drought-tolerant plant adds a touch of exotic beauty to gardens and indoor spaces alike.

Plant Care:

• Light: Place Desert Rose in full sun for at least 6 hours daily. It thrives in bright light and direct sunlight, which promotes flower production. Indoors, place near a south-facing window.

• Temperature: Desert Rose prefers warm temperatures between 65-95°F (18-35°C) during the day and can tolerate cooler nights down to 50°F (10°C). Protect from temperatures below 50°F (10°C) as it is sensitive to cold.

• Watering: Allow the soil to dry out between waterings. Water thoroughly, then let the top inch (2.5 cm) of soil dry before watering again. Reduce watering in winter when growth slows. Avoid overwatering to prevent root rot.

• Soil: Use a well-draining soil mix designed for cacti or succulents. A mix of sand, perlite, and peat works well. Ensure the pot has drainage holes to prevent waterlogging.
